Rebecca has learned that the first impression of a property is the most powerful impression.

We often think that buyers/renters can “see past” the mess, or “have a vision of what it could be,” but Rebecca disagrees. She has learned that a deep clean goes a long way, decluttering is a “must” and simply rearranging furniture can be a total game changer. 

In 2023, Rebecca earned her designation as an Accredited Staging Partner from the International Association of Home Staging Professionals.

According to the National Association of Realtors, “When staging a home, 23% of sellers’ agents reported an increase of 1-5% of the dollar value offered by buyers, in comparison to similar homes.” Rebecca will use existing furniture, and will also bring in additional soft goods, greenery, and décor from her personal collection. She will rearrange and refresh the interior so that the property shows in its best light, always with the goal of selling the property quickly and for the highest price.

Over the past decade, Rebecca has worked to create a robust rental business,

both listing rental properties and helping clients find rental homes. Similar to listing a property for sale, listing a property for rent requires a marketing strategy. Determining the target market based on location is critical- for example, a person looking for a summer rental is not likely to rent something that is too far from the beach. Pricing is also a very important aspect to listing a rental property- and understanding the local rental market is vital to the pricing strategy. Overpricing a rental property can leave it vacant for months, so Rebecca carefully conducts market research and makes pricing suggestions to Landlord clients to attract quality, qualified tenants quickly.  Additionally, marketing a rental property requires beautiful photography, video tours, social media marketing and multi-platform listing placement.
